Ergonomics in Other Countries and New FPE Projects

The Foundation for Professional Ergonomics (FPE) is pleased to announce the availability of the FPE Impact Grants that aim to support small projects in the quest of developing professional ergonomics around the world. The funding preference will be given, but not limited to, applicants from the developing countries (as defined by United Nations) or proposals that help develop or grow professional ergonomics in the developing countries.

The FPE Impact Grants are intended as seed funding for small (pilot) projects that could potentially lead to but are not required, more extensive funding opportunities from other sources in the future. The expected budget of a single proposal should be between $500 and $2,000 and must not exceed 2,500 USD.

The deadline for submission is 15 November 2021 with awards given before the end of the year, 31 December 2021. The general format for proposals can be downloaded at here

Who We Are

The Foundation for Professional Ergonomics was established in 2004 as a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing professionalism in ergonomics through educational activities and awards.  Our goals support the goals of BCPE, and we work closely with the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) on various ergonomics practitioner initiatives.  FPE attained an IRS 501(c)(3) status enabling tax-deductible donations from those sharing this dedication to professionalism in ergonomics.
