Imada is a Past President of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) and is a world expert in Macroergonomics.  Dr. Imada has received more than a dozen international awards and recognition for his work.  He has written numerous book chapters on macroergonomics.  In addition to HFES, Dr. Imada served as President of International Ergonomics Association and served as Director on the BCPE.  He is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist.
